Anya Gordeladze is a harpist, vocalist, musicologist, and founder of the Georgian polyphonic ensemble Giorgobistve. Over the past eight years, she has been studying the traditional and sacred music of Sakartvelo's regional traditions, learning from masters of Gurian polyphonic singing. Her artistry brings together Irish harp, voice, and diverse musical traditions from around the world.
"Kept Ghost" is a story of a half-real, half-imagined relationship, filled with countless details perceptible only to a lover's gaze, with overwhelming emotions that tear you apart from within, and with a profound personal transformation that such journeys through the valley of the shadow of death sometimes lead to.
